Insurance is compulsory, and with every vehicle
hired there is an insurance excess.
Insurance is done on a named driver basis only, and only the nominated
named drivers may drive. Should an unnamed driver be responsible
for damaging a vehicle, this will have to be repaired at the hirer's
cost.
Standard insurance excess is doubled
if the vehicle is hi-jacked or stolen. There is no insurance
cover at all if the vehicle is damaged in any way on
a sand road.
Damaged or stolen tyres, rims and all glass will be replaced at
the hirer's cost, irrelevant of whatever insurances have been accepted.
Personal property is not covered by any insurance.
